Volunteers play a vital role in making Galway International Arts Festival an unforgettable experience.
Don't miss out on the unique experience that is volunteering at the Galway International Arts Festival.
Volunteers will be part of a large team who engage visitors in the Festival spirit, meet the public, greet audiences at venues and welcome our national and international visitors. They are the heart and soul of the Festival and contribute massively to the transformation of the city for 14 exceptional days of culture and creativity. Festival 2014 offers several Volunteer roles across all disciplines ranging from First Thought discussion platform, Visual Art, Music, Theatre and Street Spectacle.
This years Volunteers can become Festival Ambassadors, a brand new volunteering role. Festival Ambassadors will know everything there is to know about the Festival – the where, what, who and when of the entire Festival programme. Ambassadors will advise and help audiences in choosing the right shows; they will know what shows are selling fast, and what shows have sold out. Anything audiences need to know, they can ask the Festival Ambassadors. They will be based in Galway city centre, the Festival Hub, beside the Absolut Festival Gallery, Market Street and at the Festival venues.

All Volunteers must be aged 18 years or older. The closing date for applications is Tuesday 24th June 2014.
