The Heineken Big Top
Our Heineken Big Top will be located in Fisheries Field. The Heineken Big Top Box Office will re-open during Festival 2020. Tickets for several Heineken Big Top concerts are available here, with the full programme to be announced in May. Doors open one hour before the support act begins. Note anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for all Festival Big Top shows.
We offer discounts for groups, so if you can gather ten or more colleagues, friends, acquaintances or strangers, we’ll make it worth your while. To find out more, call our Box Office or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also drop in to see us at the Festival Box Office.
We believe in making our events affordable and accessible to everyone. So if you’re a senior citizen, unwaged, or a full-time student, we’ll give you tickets at a reduced price.

We have to charge a small fee for online, telephone and postal bookings – they help us meet some of the costs of running our temporary box office. If you’d like to avoid these costs, you can book in person at the Festival Box Office.
Unfortunately, Galway International Arts Festival has a no refund or exchange policy on all Festival tickets purchased.
We’re lucky in the West of Ireland – there’s no shortage of wonderful accommodation for all the thousands and thousands of visitors that flock to our shores every year. From luxury 5-star hotels to some great quality budget hotels, guesthouses and hostels... you won’t be stuck for a place to stay.

If you have any special needs or seating requirements, please do let us know at the time of booking so we can make sure you’re well looked after. If you’re booking for shows in the Town Hall Theatre, you can contact the Theatre Box Office directly on +353 91 569 777 once it opens in June 2020.
Please Arrive On Time
Arriving on time for each event means you’re relaxed and happy, and ready to experience your show. We suggest arriving at the venue at least 20 minutes before the show starts (think traffic and parking). Sorry, but latecomers may only be admitted at the discretion of management.
Galway International Arts Festival reserves the right to alter any advertised programme if necessary. Our free outdoor programme may change due to weather conditions so please check online and social media for regular updates.

Festival Hub and Festival Ambassadors
Our Festival Hub is the one-stop information point for Festival audiences. Have a question about the programme or need to know where a venue is? Pop in. The Festival Hub will be open from 13-26 July 2020. Location for 2020 TBD.
Have a question you didn't see answered above? GIAF Festival Ambassadors (easily identifiable in their yellow t-shirts) will be stationed in the Galway city centre throughout the Festival, ready to answer any Festival-related questions you might have.
