Varvara Shavrova

Untouched is a photographic and multimedia project by Russian artist Varvara Shavarova who lives and workd in China. Identifying the common experiences of a particular Beijing neighbourhood and a rural community in Ballycastle, Co.Mayo, Shavrova indirectly reflects on the nature of Ireland's 'Celtic Tiger' Phenomenon, and the dramatic expansion of the world's fastest growing economy.
