Last March there was a collective cheer in the Irish music idustry when Adrian Crowley accepted the much coveted Choice Music Prize for Best Irish Album of 2009. It was as if justice was finally served to the Galway-musician after 10 years of recording, writing and performing what is regarded as a truly deserved and indisputable win for his fifth album, Season Of the Sparks.
