They Heard Her Voice in the Lapping Waters is inspired by the stories of female water deities throughout the world.
There is magic and mystery afloat from the surface of the river to the deep dark sea. The exhibition explores both myth and mystery of these once revered goddesses who fizzled in and crashed out of our collective memory like water lapping the shore.
