Middle Bedroom is the ninth in a unique series of immersive theatre installations by Enda Walsh collectively known as Rooms which he has made with Paul Fahy for Galway International Arts Festival. Rooms has toured to Washington and New York, and most recently five of the works were presented at the Barbican, London.
Enda Walsh’s recent work includes Medicine; the musical Sing Street; the stage adaptation of Max Porter’s book Grief is the Thing with Feathers; the musical Lazarus, written with David Bowie; The Same; and The First Child an opera with Irish composer Donnacha Dennehy which also features as part of GIAF 2022. He won a Tony Award for writing the book for the musical Once.
