Galway International Arts Festival 2024 took place 15-28 July 2024. Thank you for joining us for another record breaking year! This year saw the largest Heineken Big Top line-up to date and an incredible enthusiasm and appetite for Theatre, Music, Talks, Spectacle, and Visual Arts.
The festival as a whole drew widespread praise, with the Sunday Independent calling it ‘breath-taking’, while GIAF’s co-productions also received critical acclaim, with stellar reviews for both its 2024 co-productions, Reunion and Unspeakable Conversations.
Join us next year 14-27 July 2025 for the 48th annual Galway International Arts Festival.
Galway International Arts Festival would like to acknowledge the support of its principal funding agencies The Arts Council and Fáilte Ireland; Galway City Council; its Drinks Partner Heineken; and Education Partner University of Galway.
