The Saw Doctors will take to the stage twice at the Heineken Big Top on Friday 21st July and Saturday 29th July.
After a five year break from touring, The Saw Doctors performed a number of ‘comeback’ gigs in the UK at the end of 2022, selling out London’s Brixton Academy, the Manchester Apollo, and Glasgow’s famous Barrowlands. This June the band takes to the Glastonbury Festival’s acoustic stage. Their live performances are legendary and this gig at the Heineken Big Top sees the band return to the Festival stage for the first time in almost 20 years.
Forming in the 1980s in Galway, The Saw Doctors found success both in Ireland and beyond, with chart topping hits like ‘N17’ and ‘I Useta Lover.’ Having gained steadfast fans all over the world, there is particular excitement for the band’s return to Galway this summer. With two sold-out performances in Tuam already, The Saw Doctors presence at Galway International Arts Festival is another chance to see the band in the county where it all began.
So why not head west where there’s ‘stone walls and the grass is green’ and sing your heart out under the Heineken Big Top.
