Brendan Kelly in conversation with Catriona Crowe

Brendan Kelly is Ireland’s favourite psychiatrist and admired author of many books on the history of mental illness and treatment in Ireland.

In his new book Resilience, inspired by our collective experience of the Covid-19 pandemic, he discusses the quality of resilience, our need for it, why it is important and our capacity for it. He also talks about his book on Grangegorman Mental Hospital, Asylum.
