Mark Ravenhill is one of Britain's best-known playwrights. he has been commissioned and produced by Out of Joint, Royal Court Theatre, National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse and Paines Plough. His plays include the worldwide smash-hit Shopping and Fucking and his latest The Cut which opened at the Donmar Warehouse in March this year.

Mark will be joined in converstation by author John Deeney to discuss his life and work on Thursday 20 July at 2pm in Druid Theatre. John Deeney is a director and Senior Lecturer in Drama and Theatre at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently writing a book on Mark Ravenhill that will be published by Routledge in 2007.
