As we enter the final months of President Michael D. Higgins’ 14-year tenure as President of Ireland, this exhibition will celebrate key moments in President Higgins’ life — from his early academic and political career to his enduring commitment to social justice, equality, peace, and cultural expression.
Through powerful imagery, the exhibition will explore his advocacy for the marginalised, his defence of the Irish language and heritage, and his unwavering support for the arts. Featuring photographs from press archives, public collections, and the President’s own archive, it offers a compelling portrait of a life devoted to dignity and dialogue.
