Formed in 2016, Le Bal Chaloupé are driven by a burning desire to keep audiences dancing to the point of exhaustion.
Their original repertoire draws on creolised rhythms and melodies - cumbia and forró, merengue, maloya, changüi, rumba and tsapiky - woven into a vibrant, irresistible whole.
Improvisation flows throughout, guided by the energy of the audience, transforming every performance into a joyous, spontaneous, shared celebration.
