'You can't dispute Kodaline's near-mastery of the big and the windswept.'

The Guardian

The Dublin quartet of Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May and Jason Boland enjoyed massive success in 2012 with their multi-platinum selling debut album In A Perfect World. The album went Top 3 in Britain, spent nine weeks at No. 1 in their native Ireland and brought them to the attention of Europe and the US.

The band released their second album Coming Up For Air earlier this year. The album may be a sonic step on, but at its core remains Kodaline’s ability to connect instantly with an audience, reflecting the fact that their recently announced UK and Irish tour dates are all sold out.

Their song All I Want has appeared on a number of successful TV and film soundtracks including Grey’s Anatomy and box-office smash The Fault In Our Stars. Other songs from In A Perfect World continue to crop up on soundtracks – Pray appears on the trailer for Horns, starring Daniel Radcliffe and both A Perfect World and Brand New Day appear on Gogglebox every week!

Mullingar band The Academic are rising to fame since signing a worldwide publishing deal with Global Publishing. The quintet is made up of Craig Fitzgerald on lead vocals/guitar alongside Stephen Murtagh on bass, Matt Murtagh on lead guitar and Dean Gavin on drums. They have previously played support with The Riptide Movement, The Strypes and Little Green Cars.

Note: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
