Human Geography is a community-led dance and storytelling project created with Galway’s migrant communities.
Led by choreographer John Scott, known for working with diverse casts exploring migration and trauma, and performer Alessandra Azeviche, it brings participants together to share personal stories.
Through workshops, lived experience becomes movement and performance, mapping journeys of arrival, identity and belonging. Blending dance, spoken word and ensemble storytelling, it offers a powerful portrait of a diverse, contemporary Galway shaped by shared experience.
