One of the great pop eccentrics of his generation, Gruff Rhys gained fame in the mid-’90s as the frontman for the Welsh neopsychedelic warriors Super Furry Animals before going on to form Neon Neon.
He has collaborated with Mogwai and Gorillaz amongst others while still maintaining a solo career that continuously delivers melodically rich, stylistically adventurous work.
