"When beautiful worlds collide"
Mo [the Scottish one] and Réaltín [the Irish one] have partied, played, and blazed their way through the Edinburgh student dream. Set in Glasgow a few years later, For Dolores is a raw and electric story of friendship, motherhood and the cost of the choices we make.
Like twin stars in obsessive orbit, they circle each other — until everything explodes. How far will they go for love? For Dolores bursts onto the stage with energy, risk and darkly comic heart.
Written by the creator of My Name is Saoirse, Mustard, Maz & Bricks and Chicken, and directed by Jim Culleton, whose productions for Fishamble have won Olivier, The Stage, Fringe First and Irish Times Best Director awards, For Dolores charts a relationship fuelled by love, rivalry and risk.
Following its Galway premiere, For Dolores will have its UK premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at the Traverse Theatre.
