David Hockney is one of the most celebrated British artists of the 20th century and one of the most popluar and versatile artists of his generation. Galway Arts Festival presents an exhibition of Hockney's etchings illustration the Six Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm. Exuberbant and inventive, and drawing on elements of magic in the tales, Hockney's images focus on his imaginative reponse to the descriptions in the texts.
