A collision of sex, violence and drugs throws the lives of Olive, Alison and Tilly together, bringing them to the precipice of catastrophe. The all-female cast features Kate Stanley Brennan (who lately performed in The Night Alive at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre) as Alison, with Siobhán Cullen (recently seen in the National Theatre’s production of The Plough and the Stars) as Olive, and Amy McElhatton, newly graduated from the Lir Academy, in the role of Tilly.
The stories of these three women converge in one place, on one evening, under an unforgiving sky. Told in Mark O’Rowe’s unique rhythmic style, Crestfall is a play about love in a dog-eat-dog world. The play premiered in The Gate Theatre in 2003 and has since been produced throughout the world from London to New York.
