Watch Mirror Pavilion, Corn Work by John Gerrard take shape on Claddagh Quay
Check out this video to watch how this spectacular artwork was installed on Claddagh Quay in Galway city. Mirror Pavilion, Corn Work was unveiled Thursday 3 September as the centrepiece of Galway International Arts Festival's Autumn Edition programme.
The Pavilion is a 7-metre cubed mirrored structure, fronted by a high resolution LED screen on which two virtual worlds unfold. The LED screen will host two new artworks by John Gerrard; Corn Work in Galway City and Leaf Work in Connemara. The works reflect and respond to the landscape of both locations.
