Parking is available at the Dyke Road car park, next to the Black Box Theatre (approximately 5-minutes’ walk) and at the car park next to Galway Cathedral (less than 5-minutes’ walk). There is also limited parking available in the general Woodquay area.
The Town Hall Theatre is Galway’s municipal theatre, presenting a year-round eclectic mix of theatre, music, comedy, dance, film, literary, family and community events. The theatre incorporates a 400-seat state-of-the-art auditorium, along with an intimate 52-seater studio at Courthouse Square, in addition to the nearby Black Box Theatre on Dyke Road.
The Town Hall Theatre is also home to an intimate, second-floor studio space with a capacity of 52. Event information pages will specify if a GIAF event takes place in the Town Hall Theatre Studio rather than the main theatre.
