Parking is available in the Cathedral grounds, open 24 hours. Parking is pay-per-hour Monday-Saturday and free on Sundays. An attendant is present Monday-Saturday between 08:30 and 18:45. The City Council operates a pay-per-day car park in Cathedral Square, immediately to the south of the Cathedral.
The Galway Cathedral is located on the west bank of the River Corrib, a little north and west of the city centre.
