The AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, invented in Oxford University, was the only one where a guarantee was given by the makers to keep it at cost price to make it affordable and available to people around the world. Irishwoman Dr. Teresa Lambe was one of the team which created the vaccine; she was a crucial part of the overall miraculously fast discovery of vaccines which are now protecting the world from a deadly virus. She will tell us about that experience, and the ethical principles which underpin the distribution of the vaccine.
