Julian Neary, a comedian who found fame early but whose fortunes have plummeted, retuend home to Ireland wanting to find the community that he rebelled against as a child. Instead of the mystic, spiritual place of solace and healing that he expects, he finds instead a barren lansdcape of abandoned houses and ruined shopping centres. Performed and underscored on a piano, this one-man tour-de-force is a unique, gripping vision of what happens to a nation that forgets its heritage.
