Loah, aka Sallay Matu Garnett, is a classically trained singer songwriter of Sierra Leonean and Irish origin who has been hailed for her unique blend of folk and soul, which she calls ‘Artsoul’. Loah co–wrote the song Someone New with Hozier for which they jointly won a BMI songwriting award. Her West–African–influenced sound is a truly unique vocal mix of soul, jazz, gospel and pop.
