Cois Cladaigh was founded in 1982 and specialise in European music from the late 15th and early 16th centuries and contemporary choral music
The choir regularly commission contemporary composers including John Buckley, Michael Ó Súilleabháin and Hugh Kelly and recently won the Premier National Award for Mixed Voice Choir at the Cork International Choral Festival.
For this concert they will perform contemporary compostions by Albert Alcaraz, Eric Whitacre and Gunnar Eriksson, Henryk Gorecki. Guests include vocalist Sarah Grealish and saxophonost Kenneth Edge.
