The Soul Rebels are an eight–piece New Orleans based brass ensemble who incorporate elements of soul, jazz, funk, hip–hop, rock and pop music within a contemporary brass band framework.
The Soul Rebels have collaborated live with major artists in various music genres, including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Marilyn Manson, Green Day and Kool & The Gang, while opening shows for Bruno Mars on a recent sold–out world tour. When not touring, The Soul Rebels’ weekly show at New Orleans’ Le Bon Temps Roulé is known to erupt with the kind of contagious, shout–along musical mayhem that The Rebels bring with them wherever they perform.
Support on the night will be provided by Shuffle, a northern soul, funk, blues, r'n'b and reggae DJ night run in Galway by DJ Dave Barry.
