The Lost Brothers

Music | Ireland

Date

26 July, 9pm

Not real siblings, Irish duo Oisin Leech and Mark McCausland’s cabin in the woods–style folk music is built on whispering harmonies, deft acoustic fingerpicking and wispy melodies that comfortably fit next to the Simon and Garfunkel or Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy corner of your record collection.

Since the release in early 2018 of their highly acclaimed 5th album "Halfway Towards A Healing", Leech (from Navan) and McCausland (from Omagh) have been on a non-stop world tour, taking in sold-out theatre shows in Ireland and the UK, a stretch in America, and their first Australian tour. They now return to Galway International Arts Festival with new songs and tales from their travels. Expect songs from all five albums and some surprises on the night.

Ten years into their collaboration, Navan and Omagh songwriters Mark McCausland and Oisín Leech earlier this year released their biggest critical hit yet in Halfway Towards A Healing.

Limited unreserved seating. Over 18.
