RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra

Orchestral Masterworks 1
Music | Ireland| UK| Germany| Romania

Friday 17 July

Conductor John Wilson is a firm favourite with Irish audiences, Over this weekend he leads the National Symphony Orchestra in four orchestral masterpieces featuring two of RTÉ's ensembles and stellar international artists, including cellist Leonard Elschenbroich and pianist Finghin Collins.

Rachmaninov's achingly beautiful Adagio, Second Symphony No.2 and Nielsen's Symphony No.4 The Inextinguishable, provide opportunities aplenty for Orchestral fireworks.
