27 July 8.30pm
Everything James Lavelle has created and initiated has been driven by the same irrepressible sense of curiosity and an incorruptible willingness to take risks.
The music released today under the banner of UNKLE is very different from early UNKLE records, but the spirit remains the same.
He has collaborated with many music leaders, including DJ Shadow, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and ex–Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft.
Independent music svengali Lavelle is also the founder of Mo’ Wax records and curated the Meltdown Festival at the Barbican following in the footsteps of Yoko Ono, David Bowie and Morrissey.
Support will be from Slow Place Like Home.
This is a STANDING event.
