Why can't Ireland solve its Housing Crisis?

Our governments, although constantly implementing new initiatives, do not seem to be able to tackle the problem with any effectiveness. 

The social consequences and human su ering arising from this issue make it an emergency requiring immediate progress. What do we need to do to make that happen?

A panel of expert speakers will talk about the different aspects of a complex problem with a view to generating light rather than heat: Diarmaid Ferriter, UCD; Niamh Hourigan, UCC; Frank MacDonald, author; and Niamh Randall, Simon.
