Theo Dorgan, poet, novelist, travel writer and broadcaster grew up in a working–class house in Cork City with a family of thirteen.
He has written a luminous essay about the house and his relationship to it, which appears in The Vibrant House, edited by Lucy McDiarmid and Rhona Richman Kenneally. He will talk about the house, its inhabitants, and the effect of these experiences on his writing.
