A Memory of Seamus Heaney

Between 2008 and the poet’s death in 2013, Andrew O’Hagan and Karl Miller, the founder of the London Review of Books, made trips
to Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland — including a famous trip to the Aran Islands — with their friend Seamus Heaney.

Andrew O’Hagan will deliver, for the first time in Ireland, a talk on those travels, on memory and friendship, and a shared love of poems.

Chair: Roy Foster, historian, Yeats biographer and currently writing a book about Seamus Heaney.
