With three critically-acclaimed albums and a string of amazing live shows under their belts, Two Door Cinema Club have cemented their position as one of Ireland’s finest indie rock bands.
Their live shows, described by the Express as a ‘festival must-see’ and the Independent as ‘vibrant, punchy and impossible not to enjoy’, ensures that another great night is in store when they take to the Heineken Big Top stage at Galway International Arts Festival on Friday 26 July 2019.
Expect to hear tracks from Tourist History, selected for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year 2011, including such massive tunes as ‘Something Good Can Work’, ‘Undercover Martyn’ and ‘What You Know’; 2012’s Beacon, which debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart and reached number two in the UK Albums Chart; and 2016’s Gameshow, which was in the top 10 in both the UK and Ireland and charted across Europe, Australia and the USA.
Dublin-based pop band All Tvvins will perform as special guests of Two Door Cinema Club. The band's debut album IIVV skyrocketed to number 2 on the charts in 2016, garnered over 15 million streams, and earned a a Choice Music Prize nomination for Irish Album of the Year. Their much-anticipated sophomore album, Just To Exist, will be released in April 2019.
