T’ang Quartet

Comedy & Tragedy

Cutting an unmistakable silhouette on the local and global stage, T'Ang Quartet has been pushing the boundaries of classical music since 1992.

Comedy & Tragedy combines both cinema and music. The first part of the performances features Buster Keaton's silent film Haunted House, a 1921 short comedy film, accompanied by the quartet. The programme also includes Aulis Sallinen's Some Aspects of Peltoniemi Hintrik's Funeral March and the Chinese composer Bright Sheng's String Quartet No.3
